Money War Results!

Thank you for giving your coins and dollars to raise money for books!  The 2013 Lettie Brown Money War raised $2,038.37!  Mrs. Martin's class won the Money War, and Mrs. Davison's class won for the overall total amount.  We are able to purchase books for the Lettie Brown Library and books for another school's library!  Scholastic also donates books to a literacy charity!  Thanks for supporting literacy!

Book Fair Money War

Just a friendly reminder that we are having our Money War this week, prior to our book fair next week, to raise money to buy books for the Fairview School Library in Bloomington, Illinois, as well for our Lettie Brown School Library.

Here are the rules:  Coins add to your classroom total, and dollar bills subtract from the total of other classrooms!  Scholastic also matches our money and makes a donation to a literacy charity.  The class with the highest overall total will win a pizza party! :)  Thanks for supporting literacy!
